Kerry Mara Cox
Ms. Cox is a scholarship graduate of the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre/Schenley Program and attended summer programs on scholarship at Pacific Northwest Ballet and Joffrey. At 17, she became an apprentice to Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre under the direction of Patricia Wilde and performed in numerous Balanchine ballets including JEWELS, BALLET IMPERIAL, and WESTERN SYMPHONY. As a professional with Saint Louis Ballet Company, Kerry, a New Jersey native, has been featured as Odette/Odile in SWAN LAKE ; Snow Queen, Lead Marzipan, and Sugar Plum Fairy in THE NUTCRACKER; Myrtha in GISELLE; Dark Angel in SERENADE, in Dennis Nahat's BRAHMS QUINTET and has also been featured in Francis Patrelle’s RHAPSODY IN BLUE and ASTAIRE: A TRIBUTE. She has also performed as a principal guest artist for the Oklahoma City Ballet.

Dana Golio
Ms. Golio is a native of the Bronx, New York. She has been in the dance world for over 35 years with experience in dance training, instruction, performing and choreography. Dana comes from a dancing family. Her sister at present owns two studios in the NY area. Her parents, who were professional ballroom dancers, started training Dana at the tender age of 5. Dana along with her sister and parents won numerous awards. Dana took all subjects of dance throughout her life, such as Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Acro and of course Ballroom. Dana also trained with many teachers in the New York City area such as Mr. Al Gilbert, Charles Kelley, the Hoctor Family, and many other renowned instructors. She has always stayed faithful to her teacher and mentor Miss Dorothy who is still teaching in the Westchester area of NY. She was also a member of the dance troupe “The Doreyettes,” which traveled around the tri-state area performing for all types or organizations, primarily the New York State Beauty Pageant.

Ginger Hedrick
Ms. Hedrick danced as a corps member with Ballet Oklahoma under the direction of Edward Villella. She also danced with Impact Productions, a contemporary dance company. She performed all across the U.S., as well as in Canada, Mexico and the Soviet Union. She then danced with St. Louis Ballet under Antoni Zalewski and Ludmila Dokoudovsky. Some of the roles she danced at St. Louis Ballet included Snow Queen and Dew Drop in The Nutcracker, Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty and Blue Girl in Les Biches. Ginger is now the owner of Bodies in Balance Pilates Studio and joined the faculty of St. Louis Ballet School in 2001.

Heather Hill
Ms. Hill has been teaching for more than 9 years, mostly dealing with hip hop and rhythmic tap. She attended SIUE and studied modern, tap and jazz. She was in Dance in Concert (SIUE faculty performance) for 4 years and choreographed and performed in the student-produced show OPUS for 4 years as well. Ms. Hill was president of the University Dance Organization and worked with the Student Experimental Theatre Organization to have Ted Levy, rhythm tapper, to come and do master classes for the university. She has learned most of her skills through watching music videos and being at dance clubs with no formal training in hip hop or street dance but has had other formal dance training since the age of 6. Ms. Hill has been a faculty member since 2001.

Stephanie Hogan
Stephanie Hogan studied dance locally in Kansas City as well as in New York. She performed with the St. Louis Civic Ballet, UMKC Dance Ensemble and Kansas City Ballet. She is a graduate of UMKC with a degree in biology and a minor in dance with ballet emphasis. Stephanie was a former studio owner who has been teaching dance in the St. Louis area for over 20 years. Ms. Hogan joined Saint Louis Ballet School in 2003.

Susan Hubert-Jeep
Ms. Hubert-Jeep comes to Saint Louis Ballet School with a B.A. from Webster University in Management and Dance and over 35 years of dance education and teaching experience throughout dance schools in the St. Louis area of all ages and levels. She has also been the dance program director at several parishes as well as an instructor at Forest Park Community College teaching ballet, jazz and swing. In 1971 Ms. Hubert-Jeep was chosen to perform full time with the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes and some of her performance experience also includes performances with Muny Opera in 42nd Street and Romeo and Juliet and with the St. Louis Football Cardinals team to name a few. Susan joined Saint Louis Ballet School in 2006.

Heather Iler
Mrs. Iler began her training at a small school in her hometown of Toledo, Ohio. While still in high school Mrs. Iler moved to New York City to attend the School of American Ballet and less than a year after moving to the City, Mrs. Iler was chosen by Mikhail Baryshnikov to attend the School of Classical Ballet, the school for the American Ballet Theater. In 1990 Mrs. Iler was hired by Edward Villella to become a company member with Miami City Ballet where she performed corps, soloist and principal roles in numerous ballets. Some of the most notable performances include Serenade, Raymonda Variations, Jewels, and Square Dance by George Balanchine, 3 Epitaphs by Paul Taylor, Festival by Edward Villella and Tobiniana, Bach in 3 Movements, Transtangos and Purple Bend by Jimmy Gamonet de los Heros. Mrs. Iler also had the privilege to study and train with the San Francisco Ballet School, The Richmond Ballet, and Ballet Met. Following her professional dance career Mrs. Iler has been on faculty with the Miami City Ballet, The Reston Conservatory Ballet in Virginia, The Toledo Ballet, and Ballet Theater of Toledo. While with the Ballet Theater of Toledo she developed and implemented summer intensives for young children. When Mrs. Iler is not in the studio or theater she enjoys spending as much time as possible with her two children and husband

 

 

 
















































Krista Roy
Ms. Roy is a native of St. Louis and began her training with Berkley Evans. After graduating she went on to dance as a full scholarship student at Gus Giordano Dance Center in Evanston, IL and later moved to New York City where she was in the Internship Program at Broadway Dance Center. Her professional performing experience includes dancing in the 20th Annual TDF Astaire Awards honoring Tony winner Karen Ziemba, dancing in the pre-production musical "On the Town" in NYC, performing in Gus Giordano's New Choreography Showcase in Chicago as well as teaching for Maple Avenue Dance Center in NY, Dance Arts of St. Louis and USDAN Center for the Performing Arts. Ms. Roy joined Saint Louis Ballet School as a faculty member in 2005.

Michelle Seymour
Ms. Seymour began studying with Antoni Zalewski and Ludmila Dokoudovsky at Ballet Center of St. Louis (now Saint Louis Ballet School) as well as with the Joffrey Ballet School. After graduating high school, she joined St. Louis Ballet where she danced as a soloist. Michelle joined St. Louis Ballet School as a faculty member in 2002.

Angelica Smith
Angelica Smith has studied with Gus Giordano in Chicago and has been performing with Dimensions Dance Company including several roles in that company's The Nutcracker. She has been teaching for over 8 years. She has an honors degree in education from Webster University and is currently working on her masters. Angelica joined the faculty of St. Louis Ballet School in 2003.

Tanya Strautmann
Ms. Strautmann is a native of St. Louis and began her training with Berkely Evans continuing on to St. Louis Ballet School. She spent summers on scholarship training with Kansas City Ballet, Gus Giordano and the Joffrey Ballet Trainee Program in NY. As a professional with Saint Louis Ballet Company Ms. Strautmann has been featured as Odette/Odile in SWAN LAKE, Sugar Plum Fairy in THE NUTCRACKER, the title role in GISELLE, Waltz Girl in Balanchine's SERENADE as well as those in Francis Patrelle’s RHAPSODY IN BLUE, ASTAIRE: A TRIBUTE, BLACK FORREST CAROUSEL, Dennis Nahat's BRAHMS QUINTET and Gen Horiuchi’s BOLLING SUITE, WAKE UP, ONCE IN A BLUE MOON and RETOURNER ENCORE. In 2000, she was a guest artist in Osaka, Japan performing Horiuchi’s TWO OF A KIND. She has been a faculty and staff member since 1998.

Pamela Swaney
Ms. Swaney is a native of Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania where she trained with the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School and participated in the PBT Schenley Program. She also trained with the Pittsburgh Youth Ballet and attended various summer programs, including Chautauqua, BalletMet, the Joffrey Ballet, and the School of American Ballet . Prior to joining the St. Louis Ballet, Pamela danced professionally with the Lake Erie Ballet. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mercyhurst College in Erie , Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Dance Teaching/Choreography and a minor in Arts Administration. As a professional with Saint Louis Ballet Company she has been featured as Marzipan and Chinese in THE NUTCRACKER, in Balanchine's SERENADE, Horiuchi's MORE MORRA and lead wili in GISELLE. She has been a faculty member with Saint Louis Ballet School since 2007.

Jennifer Welch Cudnik
Ms. Welch Cudnik is a native of St. Louis. At age 15, she moved to New York City to study on scholarship at the School of American Ballet. While there, she studied under renowned teachers Stanley Williams, Kay Mazzo and Suki Schorer and performed roles in ballets by George Balanchine, August Bournonville, Christopher Wheeldon and Damien Woetzel. Jennifer spent summers training on scholarship with SAB, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and the State Ballet of Missouri. She danced professionally with the Pennsylvania Ballet before returning home to St. Louis in 2003. As a professional with Saint Louis Ballet Company Ms. Cudnik has been featured as Russian in Balanchine's SERENADE and VALSE FANTASIE, Dennis Nahat's BRAHMS QUINTET, Gen Horiuchi's RETOURNER ENCORE, ONCE IN A BLUE MOON, ELLIPTIQUE, BOLLING SUITE, as the Sugar Plum Fairy in THE NUTCRACKER and as Giselle in GISELLE. She has been a faculty member with Saint Louis Ballet School since 2003.

Lisa Wolfsberger
Ms. Wolfsberger’s dance background has taken her nationwide and throughout Europe. Born in St. Louis she has been a teacher of classical ballet for over 30 years. Her early training came from Alexandra Zaharias, Nathalie LeVine and Michael Simms. Her Professional career began with Missouri Concert Ballet (now Saint Louis Ballet) where she danced as a principal for over 10 years with directors Ludmila Dokoudovsky and Antoni Zalewski. She studied under Gary Hubler at Webster University while working towards a bachelors degree in Dance. She later became the ballet director at Dancers’ Alley in Jefferson City and in Columbia, MO was a guest artist in residence teaching ballet for Stephens College. In Jefferson City she also choreographed Act II of The Nutcracker for ACTPAC. Lisa continues to be invited as a guest artist, teaching master classes and summer programs throughout the country and has been on the staff of Saint Louis Ballet School since 2001
