NEW GROWING TREE!
To be unveiled November 2025!

Be a Part of Saint Louis Ballet Nutcracker History!
With one $250 donation your name can be adorned on an ornament!
Designed by James Wolk and currently being built by Daniel Black, Saint Louis Ballet is thrilled to adorn our new Nutcracker tree with the names of our valued supporters and patrons.
Your donation of $250 or more will ensure your name is featured on one of the beautiful tree ornaments, helping to offset the cost of the tree’s design and construction. More than 40 ornaments are still available to claim!
As of May 31, thirteen generous donors have already secured our top ornaments — but many more are waiting to be adorned with your name.
Give $250 today and become part of a special holiday tradition with Saint Louis Ballet and the St. Louis community!
FUN FACTS:
-
The tree grows from 11’-6” in the party scene to 23’-0” in the battle!
-
The new tree was printed from the artwork by James Wolk by a local downtown company, Commerce Color, on wide canvas.
-
The printed canvas then will be seamed together and rigged on the back with stiffener pockets.
-
The tree will have 131 candles
-
When the tree has grown to its full height there will be: 47 candy canes, 43 cones of Sugar Plums, 52 Globe ornaments, and 46 purple trumpets.
